Lumna LMS terms of service
Lumna LMS is a learning platform that an instructor, trainer or academy subscribes to in order to sell courses on their own site. These terms explain in plain language what we commit to and what you commit to when you use it. In short: your content, your students and your sales are yours, and you cancel whenever you like.
Who do these terms apply to?
Everyone who creates and runs an academy on Lumna: the instructor, the academy owner and the people they add to their team. An academy’s students deal with their academy, which is responsible for its own terms with them.
What am I responsible for in my account and academy?
Sign up with accurate details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what is published in your academy and for what the people you add to your team do. Publish only what you have the right to publish, and do not use Lumna for anything unlawful.
How do the subscription, the trial and cancellation work?
You start with a free trial with no card, and choose your plan when it ends. The subscription is monthly, in Jordanian dinar, for the plan you choose, and the pricing page has the plans and their current prices. You cancel in one click from your dashboard, with no call and no waiting.
Who is responsible for my sales to my students?
You are the seller. Your students pay you directly, and Lumna neither receives their money nor takes a share of it. So setting prices, refunding your students and any tax due on your sales are your responsibility.
What can Lumna’s team see and do in my academy?
To support you and oversee the platform, Lumna’s team can see the people in your academy: your team and your students, their contact details and the courses they are enrolled in, and every look is recorded. For support, the team may also sign in as one of your academy’s users, for a limited time and with a recorded reason. That session is read-only unless a second reason is recorded, it can never move money, delete anything, change your team or students or send bulk email, and it is recorded in full. We do not notify you when this happens.

Questions about the terms
Can I cancel my subscription whenever I like?
Yes. You cancel in one click from the dashboard, with no call and no waiting.
What if I go over my plan’s limits?
We warn you in your dashboard when you reach 80% of any limit. At the limit only new additions stop, and your current students keep learning without interruption.
Who owns my content and my students?
You do. Your content is yours, and your students are enrolled in your own academy, not in a shared marketplace.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You export your data from the dashboard whenever you like.
What happens to my content if I cancel?
Your content stays yours. You cancel in one click from the dashboard and export your data before or after, and we never ask you to delete anything in order to leave.
